First spotted as a stray just outside Philadelphia, Peggy made her way into Delaware County and roamed for months before GoodBoy Dog Recovery finally captured her. But Peggy wasn’t done roaming yet: we had to capture her a second time before she was safe.
After some detective work, we learned Peggy—a Dutch Shepherd—had once been a service dog for a double-amputee veteran in Georgia. How she made her way to Pennsylvania, we may never know. Today, she’s happy, loved, and living the dream on a farm with her doggy siblings.
